This year, eZo Festival turns 10 and naturally, we were planning to celebrate this milestone at home. But according to Tbilisi’s new land use plan, the festival grounds have now been reclassified as a forest zone. As a result, our lease agreement was not renewed, and we were officially denied the opportunity to host eZo Festival there again. We did everything we could - even more than we could - to bring you home for this birthday. But it wasn’t meant to be.

As unbelievable as it sounds, we’re writing this message while the space around us is being dismantled. This process has been so emotionally overwhelming that we didn’t even try to hold back our tears.

We remember every single person who brought the festival to life - the commune, our friends, eZo’s supporters, guests, and artists. 

It’s hard to even put into words just how emotional it is... all the friendships we’ve made over the past 10 years, the artists we’ve hosted, the countless unforgettable moonsets and sunrises we’ve watched together…

We couldn’t bring ourselves to say goodbye without seeing each other one last time, that’s why we’re preparing one final farewell festival:

We’ll say goodbye in the symbolic place where we took our very first steps - where we know we can still create that same magical atmosphere that always defined eZo. 

Your support during this tough time means more than words can express. It’s this sense of unity that gives us the strength to stay on our feet and keep looking ahead, no matter the setbacks. That said, we also have to be honest - this entire process has brought serious financial challenges.

Yes, sadly, this will be the last eZo Festival, but throughout the summer, we’ll keep reminding you of eZo with a few eZo Club Nights in very special venues across the city. 

We truly believe that the life we’ve lived together through eZo is just one chapter of a much larger story. We don’t yet know what comes next, nor have we found new inspirations - but we believe, with all our hearts, that eZo will find new life.
